About Us - Purnaa Arts

Purnaa means that which is intrinsically whole, complete and perfect. Purnaa Arts is personal initiative of Madhura Phatak, a well know exponent of Kathak as well as an Arts & Culture Manager. Purnaa Arts came into existence during the first Covid Lockdown in 2020.

Through its activities, this young initiative aspires to

  • Create awareness and engage with arts, with a focus on Indian classical and traditional art forms
  • Make traditional arts relevant for today’s day to day life offering the right approach to training and appreciation of the arts
  • Make training in these traditions accessible to each and every person interested in it…yes you heard it right even to those who feel they lost the opportunity to learn in their younger age…as we believe age is just a state of mind
  • Offer a platform to young  artists  to interact with masters as well as showcase their prowess
  • Offer well-meaning mentors an opportunity to train young artists from cross disciplinary and cross cultural background
  • Offer an avenue for young talent to experiment and approach their art with ever new perspectives, making it contemporary and alive

So what are you waiting for! If you feel you are looking for some guidance, or have any brilliant artistic ideas, then you have come to the appropriate forum. Contact us today at: arts.purnaa@gmail.com

What We Do

Purnaa Arts offers offline and online training for those who wish to engage with Indian classical dance and music. Our purpose is that at the end of each training capsule you, your inner self should feel nurtured, connected with your emotions and with who you are for your self.

Disclaimer: Purnaa Arts does not claim to be an initiative for personality development or healing. What we teach is based on centuries-old knowledge, learning and dance practices.
